The Omni College Landing Page

  • As a designer at TPG, I have the particular job of maintaining and updating the website. I have been planning out a new website page with 2 of the partners from TPG. Their goal is to present the eLearning courses and curricula to potential clients.

  • TPG recently had their website updated by an outside company. While website maintenance plays a sub role for me as a designer on the team, this particular project has become a higher priority for me recently. This project will become a great tool for TPG's selling prospects as eLearning is an up and coming service for them.

Project Summary

Over a two-month period, I designed a landing page for The Partnering Group, a project that required close collaboration and attention to detail. I gathered input from two partners within the organization, transforming their ideas into initial design concepts. Through an iterative process, I refined these concepts to develop a cohesive and clean final product. The landing page is designed to drive awareness and foster new connections with clients who need customized eLearning and instructor-led training solutions. This project not only enhanced my skills in responsive web design but also highlighted the importance of aligning design with strategic business goals.

Research

As part of the project, I conducted extensive research to ensure the landing page met the latest industry standards and user expectations. This involved analyzing current trends and reviewing examples from leading companies to determine the optimal balance of content, imagery, and text. I focused on understanding the types and amounts of imagery that resonated with users, the appropriate length and complexity of text to maintain engagement, and the overall user experience. This research informed key design decisions, ensuring the final product was both visually appealing and user-friendly, effectively supporting the goals of The Partnering Group.
